| Deividas Adas Bakutis aka Adas B is a drum & bass, electronic music artist and producer from Lithuania in Europe.
His keen interest in music began at the age of seven, when his father took him with to a studio recording of his father’s rock style band. A few years later his father helped him collect old worn out sound equipment that he restored and later taught himself the basics of DJing on. Soon after he was holding school discos and later progressed to being the resident DJ at some of the local night clubs in the city centre. Deividas then competed in a number of DJ competitions in Lithuania and became successfully and well recognized which led him to become the resident DJ in Lithuania’s most popular and well known nightclub “The Combo” here he played and shared the stage with well known famous performers such as: Cashius, Marius Ivanoff, Marchius D, Barry Gilbey, Pappa and many others. It was at “The Combo” that Deividas was deeply influenced by electronic music. Deividas then studied art in Kaunas, Lithuania and when he completed his studies he decided to broaden his horizons and interests and moved to the UK and observed the DJs there. Visits to nightclubs such as “Ministry of Sound” and “Fabric” changed his view of electronic music. Music producers such as, Nathan Fake, Alex Smoke, Amin Tobin and Jazzanova where some of the first people who inspired Deividas to start producing his own music. One year after producing his own music and DJing and experimenting in the UK Deividas felt the urge to further his abilities by enrolling into Cambridge Regional College and studying the National Diploma in Music Technology here he favoured the subjects of Sound Creation and Synthesis, he enjoyed creating and manipulating sounds. After completing the 2 year course he decided and knew this is what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. In 2008 Deividas and his family relocated to South Africa, there his skills progressed even further when he entered the Jazzanova- Lie remix competition and won a track release with Sonar Kollectiv Independent record label in Berlin Germany, from there he built his own fully functioning studio. At present Deividas is working on his new upcoming album which will be released in 2012. Achievements:
